Wanderung rund um das Kloster Schöntal
The weather at Easter was better than expected, the sun was shining and invited to a spring hike. Around the monastery Schoental, which is already worth an excursion, there are beautiful cycling and hiking trails of different lengths. The shortest round leads from the monastery to an old linden tree next to a small pilgrimage church, past an old chapel with rectory back to the monastery. Not even two hours walk, partly through the forest, partly over country lanes. Back at the monastery, I rewarded myself with a wheat beer in Duka's station, a restaurant with beer garden located in a former station building.
Das Wetter an Ostern war besser als erwartet, die Sonne schien und lud zu einer Frühlingswanderung ein. Rund um das Kloster Schöntal, das allein schon einen Ausflug wert ist, befinden sich schöne Rad- und Wanderwege unterschliedlicher Länge. Die kürzeste Runde führt vom Kloster zu einer alten Linde neben einer kleinen Wallfahrtskirche, an einer alten Kapelle mit Pfarrhaus vorbei zurück zum Kloster. Keine zwei Stunden Fußmarsch, teils durch den Wald, teils über Feldwege. Wieder am Kloster angekommen, habe ich mich in Duka's Bahnhof, einer in einem ehemaligen Bahnhofsgebäude gelegenen Gaststube mit Biergarten, mit einem Weizen belohnt.
